This is the heartwarming moment a man is given a flimsy plastic tent by charitable members of the public then sent back to live on the streets where he was SET ON FIRE earlier in the week rather than some sort of government accommodation. I am not sure what’s worse.

Fascinating. Food company loses millions in cyber attack (NotPetya). Has limitless insurance cover precisely for this. Insurance company declined stating this was weaponised NSA code thereby making it ‘warlike’ (and excludable).

Ladies. This thread is gold. When I was about 20, an ex boyfriend bought me a pair of panties that said “Wild Thing” on the crotch. I didn’t wear them until about 2 years later. I was working in a dentist’s office at the time. I had a patient reclined inches from my crotch when - suddenly! - it began.

Marvel Studios' Avengers - Official Trailer - YouTube
Tony Stark: This thing on?... Hey Ms. Potts. If you find this recording, don't feel bad about this. Part of the journey is the end. Just for the record, being adrift in space was your promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds. Food and water ran out four days ago. Oxygen run out tomorrow morning. And that'll be it. When I drift off, I will dream about you. It's always you.

Commons legal review leaked. No surprises but weakens May as its not exactly the promised free range Rule Brittania post Brexit. Personally I see the agreement as pretty reasonable. We got the Arbitration panel and got 100% on controlling immigration. This is weird though - "if a family member born just before the end of the TIP then goes on to have a child late in life (say in their seventies), this could mean that the WA (Withdrawal Agreement) could have effect for approximately 150 years from the end of the TIP (transitional or implementing period)"

Woman who inherited fatal illness to sue doctors in groundbreaking case | Science | The Guardian
Today's morality tale Doctors failed to tell her about her father’s fatal hereditary disease (Huntingdon's) before she had her own child. She would have had an abortion had she known about her father’s condition. The woman’s father shot and killed his wife in 2007 and was convicted of manslaughter. Two years later, doctors at St George’s Hospital in south London found he had Huntington’s disease and asked him to tell his daughter about his condition and her risk of developing it. But he refused to do so because he thought she might abort the child she was carrying. The doctors accepted his decision. Oooh ethical dilemmas. Does the trust's duty of care to her extend to breaking another, genetically linked, patient's confidentiality?

I am deeply disturbed by taking Sir Philip Green's side here. #MeToo can go take a hike. Two of the NDA signers supported the court case and didn't want their names in public. They are on Phil's side. Sometimes you want justice, but quietly. And when it's sorted you want to move on and not have your name forever linked to the bastard. I still think Green is a cock.

People who eat organic 25 per cent less likely to get cancer | News | The Times
*Angry Rant Ahead* FFS The Times. The study found a 0.6% risk reduction in absolute terms. Tiny. People who buy organic also tend to be to richer, eat more fruit and veg, less meat & drink less booze. This type of reporting just tacitly reinforces the idea that of you eat organic you are a better person & good people don’t get cancer. That is Utter Horseshit. It also makes wild conjecture that this *must* be due to pesticides, which this type of study could never provide evidence for. You can get cancer with the healthiest diet because GENETICS. Hate this. People with cancer have a hard enough time as it is.
