Home - The CD Recycling Center of America
Each year, billions of CDs and DVDs are manufactured, while millions of these discs end up in landfills and incinerators. If you use, sell, promote, distribute, or manufacture compact discs, it is your responsibility to promote how to recycle them. Compacts Discs, when recycled properly, will stop unnecessary pollution, conserve natural resources, and help slow global warming. Spread the word to help us save the world we all live in.

Sonos explains why it bricks old devices with ‘Recycle Mode’ - The Verge
Late last week, Sonos was called out on Twitter by Devin Wilson for its practices around sustainability. The company drew particular attention for a “Recycle Mode” software feature that, once activated, begins a countdown that eventually renders older Sonos devices basically inoperable. Recycle Mode is part of the trade-up program that Sonos announced back in October, which lets customers get a discount on newer Sonos speakers like the One, Beam, or the Port that Nilay just reviewed.

Welcome to my website! I'm John Bumstead, and my company, RDKL, Inc. (pronounced "roadkill incorporated") has been buying, repairing, and selling Apple laptops for more than a decade. In my spare time I photograph broken screens and GPU defects (i.e. "glitch" art), which you can find on my Instagram page.

Sell your broken MacBook in the "Sell Your Computer" wizard, buy a MacBook in the "Marketplace", and get your repair questions answered in the "Answers" forums! I look forward to hearing from you!

Franklin Township Public Library - Where ideas and peoples meet.
The library appreciates your interest in donating to us. We will gladly accept donations of your new or gently used books, CDs, DVDs and BluRays. Out of consideration for others, we request that you do not drop donations in the book returns or leave them in bags and boxes outside the library. A form letter for tax purposes is available upon request; however the estimated valuation of the donation is the responsibility of the donor.

Unfortunately, the library is unable to use donations of textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines (including National Geographic) or materials that are musty, dirty, strained, yellowed, or worn. Please, no VHS tapes, cassette tapes, games or puzzles.

Good news — many other organizations will gladly accept the material that we cannot use! Here is a list of alternative places where you can go to recycle, donate, sell any materials not suitable for library donation.
