An overly simple treatment of a complex subject. For example, how about holding people accountable with how they spend their money? Living choices are a huge determinant of wealth accumulation. The middle class has seen multiple consumption-oriented generations. Another issues is the waning of the Industrial Economy epitomized by Detroit's further decline; folks need retraining for knowledge jobs, which will take a while. That said, fairly indisputable that people who understand the economic shift and know how to leverage wealth have a huge advantage, and wealth is concentrating.
