Architecting the uncertain - Getting started with Agile Software Architecture | print("Hello, World!")
The idea of an Architecture Sprint or Iteration Zero is quite common, though somewhat controversial in agile circles. Although valuable, it’s often misused by teams new to agile, to keep their own waterfall-era decision processes alive. You end up with a process that’s called water-scrum-fall. But there’s much to be saved - and gained from an agile approach to upfront Software Architecture activities. In this post I want to explore this idea.

The Airfix Responsive Workflow by Jordan Moore — Web Designer & Front End Developer
This is where the small changes to my process begin. After annotating my wireframes to correspond with the functional specification I use an additional copy of the wireframes to label typography and modular components with reference numbers. Similar pieces can be labeled with the same colour or other categorisation techniques to help with the next step of the process.

Our New Responsive Design Deliverable: The Style Prototype | Sparkbox

In a nutshell, the goal of a Style Prototype is to allow a client to get a visual summary of a site’s proposed design direction without the time investment of creating multiple pages of Photoshop comps or fully developing HTML pages. A style prototype is a single HTML page which outlines site colors, typography, photographic style, button styles, rollovers, and other necessary elements to establish design direction.

Defrag Your Brain With a Spark File
The Spark File, Steven describes, is a process/tool that he uses to collect "half-baked ideas" and then revisit them. For eight years, he's maintained a single document with notes and ideas with zero organization or taxonomy, simply a chronology of thoughts. He calls this document his Spark File.

Once a month, he revisits the ENTIRE Spark File from top to bottom, revisiting old ideas and potentially combining them with newer ideas.
