Anatomy of my Kubernetes Cluster | Antonin Stefanutti
A year ago, I decided I would build my own Kubernetes cluster. As a software engineer, I either use a local single-node Kubernetes cluster, or a remote multi-node cluster, to test my work on a daily basis. I wanted to have the benefits of both, that is being able to use a multi-node cluster, without any of the latencies you can experience while working with a remote environment.

“Let’s use Kubernetes!” Now you have 8 problems
If you’re using Docker, the next natural step seems to be Kubernetes, aka K8s: that’s how you run things in production, right? Well, maybe. Solutions designed for 500 software engineers working on the same application are quite different than solutions for 50 software engineers. And both will be different from solutions designed for a team of 5. If you’re part of a small team, Kubernetes probably isn’t for you: it’s a lot of pain with very little benefits. Let’s see why.

Why Vault and Kubernetes is the perfect couple - cloudowski.com
The (not so) secret flaws of Kubernetes SecretsWhen you’re starting learning and using Kubernetes for the first time you discover that there is this special object called Secret that is designed for storing various kinds of confidential data. However, when you find out it is very similar to ConfigMap object and is not encrypted (it can be optionally encrypted at rest) you may start wondering - is it really secure? Especially when you use the same API to interact with it and the same credentials....
