(Oh, neat—it looks like @LaunchCenterPro supports NFC tags for triggering actions—)
“We pioneered the use of NFC for triggering actions in @LaunchCenterPro & have no problem with Shortcuts adopting it, competition spurs innovation. But Shortcuts is using NFC in the background, which 3rd party apps can’t do. When ‘borrowing’ features, Apple should let us compete.”

(Perhaps the replies to this might offer some ideas for monitors?)

“3. Nice looking since I’ll be staring at it 8-10 hours a day for years.
“4. Decent cable management and higher quality cables (that don’t kink up and look like crap)
“5. Correct PPI for macOS.”

If you had wanted to set up a teensy site, perhaps this may be worth a look?

Here’s how you got here:
@rjonesy asked: “I want to keep http://manageapplesubscriptions.com doing the exact same thing, but I want us to be able to save it to iOS home screen, with a nice icon. Any ideas how to do that?”

To which @drbarnard replied:
“@rjonesy Pretty sure nothing has changed from these instructions: https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/quick-tip-give-your-website-an-ios-home-screen-icon--webdesign-10067”

(From there, @rjonesy followed up with:)
“@drbarnard That part I’ve got, but where do I host it that’s not $100/yr square space for a dinky little icon and redirect?”
https://twitter.com/rjonesy/status/1012103439978033156

(And then @drbarnard chimed in with:)
“@rjonesy Oh, I use https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net for stuff like that. Load it up with $20 and it’ll last a few years, maybe more.”

(Looks like David Barnard is quite a fan of Nocs’ NS2 Air Monitors. And while those do support AirPlay, they don’t seem to be available as of February 2018.)
