Mike Monteiro on Twitter: "Hey kids, I wanna get something funded but I refuse to use @kickstarter since they’re union-busting scum. We got a good alternative yet?" / Twitter
(Perhaps the replies to this could be worth a look?

“Hey kids, I wanna get something funded but I refuse to use @kickstarter since they’re union-busting scum. We got a good alternative yet?”

(Also, it seems a good sign that Eric Eggert / @yatil reteeted this.)

Aimpad’s Analog Tech Lands On Cooler Master ‘ControlPad’ (Updated)
“Cooler Master is developing a 24-key standalone input device called the ControlPad that features Aimpad’s analog sensing technology.

“Don’t call it a numpad, though, because it’s not; think of it as more of a massive bank of macro keys with a world of possibilities. Even though it has 24 keys like standalone numpads from the likes of Ducky and others, they’re laid out in a more generic fashion, with each keycap numbered 01-24.”

This looks like a pretty intriguing mechanical keyboard—it even has a “Super” key rather than a stupid Windows key.

Rocketbook Wave: Cloud Connected Microwavable Notebook by Rocketbook — Kickstarter
(It looks like the Rocketbook notebook's dots are roughly spaced like a college-ruled notebook:)
"For our first page style, we chose the Dot Grid+ style, because it 1) works well as a substitute for lines and is spaced with the same spacing as college ruled 2) is perfect for plotting graphs and diagrams, 3) is less intrusive than graph paper."

Kello - Smart Alarm Clock | Become A Morning Person
This looks like kind of a neat alarm clock—but it’s also $109. And it doesn’t seem to integrate with your sleep cycles.

(Their project was originally on Kickstarter and now they’re accepting pre-orders at Indiegogo

Voting for a winner - The Domino Project
"One way to appear inevitable is to set a lower minimum threshold for success. Setting a huge number feels bold and even macho, but it’s clear that your fans would prefer to pile on after you’ve reached your goal, not sweat or be begged to be sure you reach it in the first place."
