mysql - Is it not possible to show warnings when using mysqlimport? - Stack Overflow | https://stackoverflow.com/
I used the mysql CLI tool, passing an equivalent "LOAD DATA ..." command followed by a semicolon, followed by "SHOW WARNINGS". The resulting display is helpful in finding detail on each warning.

For example:
<code class="language-bash">mysql <options> -e "LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE 'foo' INTO TABLE bar; SHOW WARNINGS"</code>

P.S.: You will probably also need to add the '--local-infile=1' option or you'll get an error message about something not being supported in this version of MySQL.

What worked (finally) for me was:
<code class="language-sql">
mysql --login-path=dbserver --local-infile=1 --protocol=TCP \
-e 'load data local infile "zz_ensembl_genes.tsv" into table zz_ensembl_genes; show warnings;' \
the_database
</code>

ruby - Logging in Sinatra? - Stack Overflow
Sinatra 1.3 will ship with such a logger object, exactly usable as above. You can use edge Sinatra as described in "The Bleeding Edge". Won't be that long until we'll release 1.3, I guess.

To use it with Sinatra 1.2, do something like this:

<code class="language-ruby">
require 'sinatra'
use Rack::Logger

helpers do
def logger
request.logger
end
end
</code>

[10.10] [OS X] Finder extensions spams console system log · Issue #3782 · owncloud/client · GitHub
FYI in my case Box Sync was causing this. Even while the Box Sync app was not running, nor was its' client icon visible in the Mac bar.

Killing the Box Sync Extension within Activity Monitor stopped the log spamming.

macos - How to find offending Finder Extension? - Ask Different | https://apple.stackexchange.com/

I found the offenders in my case (plural, for several apps were using this plugin), using a ps -axe | grep FinderSyncExt .

Before removing the apps using it from my /Applications folder, I decided to kill each of the processes using a killall -9 FinderSyncExt.

r - Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: PipeMapRed.waitOutputThreads(): subprocess failed with code 1 - Stack Overflow
You can display logs for your app by running this command:

yarn logs -applicationId application_${appid}

in your case

yarn logs -applicationId application_1439208338231_0002

or you can find them in locations like:

/yarn/apps/&{user_name}/logs/application_${appid}/

or

/app-logs/&{user_name}/logs/application_${appid}/

In general, localization of logs in hadoop: http://stackoverflow.com/a/21629631/3846521

Quick and Easy Way to List All the Windows Updates Installed on Your System | Gizmo's Freeware
Some programs, such as Belarc Advisor, will include a list of updates in an overall analysis of what is on your computer. This type of comprehensive survey of your computer’s contents is worthwhile but there is also an easier way to get a list of Windows updates. This method takes advantage of the command line and requires no installation of additional software. Open the command prompt and enter this command:

wmic qfe list brief /format:htable > "%USERPROFILE%\hotfix.html"

This produces a nicely formatted list in an HTML file named hotfix.html that gets placed in the User folder. You can, of course, change the destination to some other convenient location. If there are any spaces in the name of a folder that you choose, don’t forget to wrap the destination name in quotes, as is done in the commands given in this tip.

If you would rather have a text file, the command would be:

wmic qfe list brief /format:texttablewsys > "%USERPROFILE%\hotfix.txt"

Where are checkdisk/scandisk logs ? - Windows 7 Help Forums
if I remember try..

Go to Start > Run and type: eventvwr.msc /s , and hit enter.
When Event Viewer opens, click on "Application", then scroll
down to "Winlogon" and double-click on it. This is the log
created after running Checkdisk.

In Event viewer, under Application logs, you need to double click on "wininit".

"Winlogon" is applicable for XP.

php - How not to show last bracket in a monolog log line? - Stack Overflow
That's the extra data. The default format of the LineFormatter is "[%datetime%] %channel%.%level_name%: %message% %context% %extra%\n". the username/age is the context, and extra that is typically empty results in this empty array [].

If you use processors to attach data to log records they typically write it to the extra key to avoid conflicts with context info. If it really is an issue for you you can change the default format and omit %extra%.

Edit: As of Monolog 1.11 the LineFormatter has a $ignoreEmptyContextAndExtra parameter in the constructor that lets you remove these, so you can use this:

// the last "true" here tells it to remove empty []'s
$formatter = new LineFormatter(null, null, false, true);
$handler->setFormatter($formatter);

linux - Description of kernel.printk values - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange
The four values in printk denote: console_loglevel, default_message_loglevel, minimum_console_loglevel and default_console_loglevel respectively.

These values influence printk() behavior when printing or logging error messages. See man 2 syslog for more info on the different loglevels.

console_loglevel: messages with a higher priority than this will be printed to the console
default_message_loglevel: messages without an explicit priority will be printed with this priority
minimum_console_loglevel: minimum (highest) value to which console_loglevel can be set
default_console_loglevel: default value for console_loglevel

A sensible default for CentOS 6 (to prevent basically harmless but annoying messages from flooding the console if you set '--noclear' option for the init's mingettys) is:

# /etc/sysctl.conf
kernel.printk = 3 4 1 3
