Writing Vim Plugins / Steve Losh
Except when it isn't, and then you need to 'call pathogen#helptags()'. Dunno why.
Creating a help document is as easy as creating a doc/yourplugin.txt file in your project. It will be indexed automatically by pathogen#helptags() so your users will have the docs at their fingertips.

GitHub - vim-scripts/csv.vim: A Filetype plugin for csv files. | https://github.com/
Check out :ArrangeColumn and :UnArrangeColumn. These allow you to use vertical selections to prepend/append to individual columns. Pretty handy!

vim.org link: http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2830

<code class="language-vim">
" create this as ~/.vim/filetype.vim
if exists("did_load_csvfiletype")
finish
endif
let did_load_csvfiletype=1

augroup filetypedetect
au! BufRead,BufNewFile *.csv,*.dat,*.tab,*.bed setfiletype csv
augroup END
</code>
Syntax error when opening a CSV file

If you see this error:

<code>CSV Syntax:Invalid column pattern, using default pattern \%([^,]*,\|$\)</code>

This happens usually, when the syntax script is read before the filetype plugin, so the plugin did not have a chance to setup the column delimiter correctly.

The easy way to fix it, is to make sure the :syntax on (:syn-on) statement comes after the :filetype plugin (:filetype-plugin-on) statement in your .vimrc

Alternatively, you can simply call InitCSV and ignore the error.
Autocommand on opening/closing files

Alternatively, you can restrict this setting to files below a certain size. For example, if you only want to enable this feature for files smaller than 1 MB, put this into your .vimrc

let g:csv_autocmd_arrange = 1
let g:csv_autocmd_arrange_size = 1024*1024

tpope/vim-fugitive: fugitive.vim: a Git wrapper so awesome, it should be illegal
You can "set splitright" (as mentioned here: https://github.com/tpope/vim-fugitive/issues/919) if you want :Gdiff to stop splitting horizontally, which is super-annoying.

vim - clang_complete: where is the libclang.{so,dylib} in OS X? - Stack Overflow
With the latest (appstore) XCode 4.3.2, the location changed, it can now be found in

/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/lib/libclang.dylib

The /Developer directory, among others, no longer exists by default. Everything is now packaged inside the XCode application, so that delta updates from the appstore work.

Protocol plugin for Office 365/Lync/OCS download | SourceForge.net
The version that ships with Adium didn't seem to work with the work SIP server.

This version, however did, with email, network login (no domain part), password, and everything else set to auto.

With Pidgin on a recent Debian/Ubuntu-ish distro, just install 'pidgin-sipe' and all the server settings get autodetected given the email and network credentials.

Why don't any of the checkers work for Perl? I dunno. This advice doesn't do anything:
4.13. Q. The perl checker has stopped working...

A. The perl checker runs perl -c against your file, which in turn executes any BEGIN, UNITCHECK, and CHECK blocks, and any use statements in your file (cf. perlrun). This is probably fine if you wrote the file yourself, but it's a security problem if you're checking third-party files. Since there is currently no way to disable this behaviour while still producing useful results, the checker is now disabled by default. To (re-)enable it, make sure the g:syntastic_perl_checkers list includes perl, and set g:syntastic_enable_perl_checker to 1 in your vimrc:

let g:syntastic_enable_perl_checker = 1
