New Allegations Against Zak Smith Spotlight Rampant Harassment In The RPG Industry - The Fandomentals
There may be ample evidence that he is an unpleasant person, but I don't support holding lynchings without some sort of judicial review.

Fumbles, or "What do a scarecrow, a janitor, and a kung fu Kraken have to do with eachother?" - Pathfinder_RPG
A classic essay on game design -- this one proposes to simple tests that any RPG fumble system ought to pass (and many don't).

Geek Ken: The problem with using virtual tabletops for D&D
More games are using physical props to track things, and this is good for RPGs. But give some thought to how it works with computerized UIs for RPGs.

Dungeons and Dragons Online: behold the power of free - Ars Technica
D&D online MMORPG languishes for years at $15/month for subscriptions. They re-tune it to be offered for free, with subscriptions giving advantages and the option to purchase in-game stuff. The participation rate skyrockets. More people (in absolute terms) are subscribers now, and many non-subscribers are buying more than $15/month of stuff too. Is this a model for other expensive online services?

Order of the Stick
Using "stick figures" as a stylistic gimmick, this D&D based webcomic is excellent. Drama, lots of humor -- it is certainly worth the read. Even those who don't know D&D will enjoy it (although they'll miss half the jokes).
