An interesting exercise in security. Google wallet stores the hash of the access PIN within their app, so on a rooted phone you can brute-force it. Storing in the secure element would require bank cooperation. My answer: why not just use a longer or non-numeric PIN?

Dwolla wants to charge just 25c/transaction (regardless of transaction size). Their plan is NOT to use credit cards, but to base everything on the ACH system. I wonder about further details, more than could go in this article.
