WDW Archive
WDW Archive is dedicated to the preservation of videos, music, and other media from Disney theme parks. Many people around the world have fond memories of long-gone attractions, and we want to help keep those memories alive.

Our focus is archiving and setting up mirrors of media from Disney parks. This includes promotional videos, background music, and officially-released soundtracks/songs that are no longer officially available to purchase.

Safety Cards
Besides taking pictures of aircraft, I also collect the safety cards which you can find on board. You know those plastic or cardboard cards that say what to do in case of a crash-landing or ditching. Remember NEVER to panic ;-)

Medicine Man - Los Angeles Magazine
You know that trope about how famous people put their pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us? Well, they take medicine just like the rest of us, too—and then some . While many of those pill bottles end up in landfills, many also end up in the hands of a Los Angeles collector named Bill Harris

The Brazilian Bus Magnate Who’s Buying Up All the World’s Vinyl Records -
In an office near the back of his 25,000-square-foot warehouse in São Paolo, Zero Freitas, 62, slipped into a chair, grabbed one of the LPs stacked on a table and examined its track list. He wore wire-rimmed glasses, khaki shorts and a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt; his gray hair was thin on top but curled along his collar in the back. Studying the song list, he appeared vaguely professorial. In truth, Freitas is a wealthy businessman who, since he was a child, has been unable to stop buying records. “I’ve gone to therapy for 40 years to try to explain this to myself,” he said.

Match Game - Finding the Perfect Plates for a Vintage Car -
For some car collectors, completing a vehicle restoration with tires, wheels and paint that look period-correct is just not enough. Even such details as the license plates must be the correct vintage.

october 2013 by xr - J. Alan Wall's Television Station Sign-Off Site
This site is devoted to the memory of a bygone era in American broadcasting when all TV stations' programming ended at the conclusion of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show or The Late Movie. No homes were equipped with Direct TV DVRs and there was no such thing as "TV on-demand". This site will be featuring authentic recordings of U.S. television stations ending their broadcast day with the playing of the Star Spangled Banner (SSB), America The Beautiful (ATB) or some other patriotic piece before cutting the juice or going to a test pattern. With very few exceptions, all U.S. TV stations now operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, filling their overnight schedules with infomercials, home shopping fare, all-night network news, movies and daytime talk-show reruns.

Canon - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki
To understand canon and continuity, the overall Star Wars saga should be looked at as a set of stories written by many different people which "document" past "events." Although some stories are more reliable than others, they all are looked upon as part of the overall "history." It should also be remembered that all of these stories are simply that—stories. There are numerous errors that inevitably arise between the stories simply because different authors have their own ways of telling the story and may not have the time and resources to perfectly align the details.
